                                                    Class of 2000 Senior Gift.
Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Reflecting Pool Renovation

The Class of 2000 wishes to present the gift of a restored reflecting pool to the
University of Oklahoma.  The former reflecting pool (Class of 1935 gift), now
a landscape garden, is located directly in front of the Oklahoma Memorial
Stadium's north entrance.  This former reflecting pool holds many memories
and sentiments of former times for the University of Oklahoma.  The Class of
2000 wishes to bring back some of the qualities of "place" from that past , as
well as create a place which may offer the creation of new traditions for OU
students.  Since the Class of 2000 will be the first in the new Millennium, it
wishes for this gift to be a bridge to the past and a passage to the future!
